Organ Energetics
and the
Practice
of
Traditional Western
Herbalism
INDIVIDUAL WEEKEND CLASSES
Matthew Wood
is back in Southeast
Michigan offering a
multi-session intensive
course; during this course,
individual weekend sessions
will be open to those
interested.
Be aware
that because these weekends
are part of a longer course,
we'll often only know topics
from where we leave off in
previous sessions, and not
necessarily in advance.
Also, a basic knowledge of
tissue states, as laid out
in Matthew's
The Practice of Traditional
Western Herbalism,
needs to be understood, as
the course is based on these
principles. There's a
introduction to those ideas
here,
but if you're interested in
attending one of the
weekends, please do get a
copy of the book and give it
a read. If you find the
whole thing confusing, get
ahold of me and I may be
able to provide an
overview. The class takes
the concept of tissue states
looks at how they affect
specific organ and guidance
systems, and as well covers
the assessment of
constitutions, the doctrine
of signatures, and the
magical perspective Matt is
so well known for.
The course is
being held in
White
Lake, Michigan.
Lodging will be limited to
tenting it on our land, or
you may look into one of the
area hotels or cabins (see
links below). In regards to
food, breakfast and lunches
will be offered here, but
not dinners.

This is
an excellent opportunity to
study with a very
unique
and gifted
herbalist, and a unique one
for those living in the
Great Lakes Bioregion. If
you are interested, or would
like to know more about
this, please contact me for
further information.
“By magically changing
our lives, our green friends
restore physical health,
psychological happiness, and
spiritual purpose. A little
miracle occurs and the
magical level clicks in, in
fact, whenever an herb cures
in a real and radical way.
This is a sign that
something great and new has
come in from a different
world to enrich and develop
our lives to their fullest
and most beautiful
potential”.
