So, I think the video above demonstrates fairly well
that I could really use some equipment of my own to
begin to offer more online and distance content.
My ability to offer classes more widely online has, up
till now, always been dependent on the effort (and
equipment!) of others, and increasingly every time I
post class announcements people are asking for
recordings. While I do have some (I think rather
good) audio recordings available, there's a lot I
do in classes that requires seeing what I'm referring to
(as the beginning of the video makes clear!).
Thing is, there are a lot of up front costs... and, to
be honest, more than I have up front cash to cover.
So I'm putting out this request for support. I've
always tried to offer a lot of information freely
online, and my goal is to be able to use this equipment
to both continue to do that, as well as offer more
structured video classes to make my personal approach to
teaching more accessible to those who simply can't trek
out to michigan (or be in more places at once than they
already are!) to come to classes.
If you feel interested and able to offer something to
